CPU CATALOG

Processors (CPU) Database

Browse mainstream desktop and mobile CPUs, compare architecture generations, and explore game compatibility.

The CPU database lists desktop and laptop processors from Intel and AMD each listed with its generation and form factor; a processor's own page shows core and thread counts and the other specifications we have for it. Like GPUs, each processor has a relative tier that FrameScope compares with the processor lines in a game's official minimum and recommended requirements.

Search for a model or filter by brand, then open a processor to see where it sits against the requirements of the games in the database. Clock speed alone is a poor guide across generations, which is why requirements are matched to reference models instead. The CPU matters most in large open worlds, simulations and high-refresh esports play; the GPU usually decides image quality. Results are estimated from specifications, not measured.
